Not one person said they didn’t like it. Yea, the special effects were awesome, and the whole idea behind the movie was incredible, and the idea to film the entire thing from the characters’ own cameras or people’s iPhones or whatever was genius, but the plot sucked. The character development sucked. Is this really what we classify as “the greatest movie I have ever seen”? I am so disappointed in today’s love of movies that get overhyped, regardless of how bad they really are. It’s like: “Oh, this got a lot of publicity, and everyone is supposed to love it, so I must love it.” You want a good movie about telekinesis? Check out Phenomenon. A classic. Or, hell, even the X-Men movies. I really wanted to like this movie (and it’s inevitable sequel). Did I miss something?
